New Stuff!

This week, we got a few more new yarns: "Painted Lace" from Knitting Fever, a fingering/sport-weight all-cotton yarn with 874 yards per cake; "Lana Mia Cotone" from Gedifra, a cotton self-striping sock yarn; and "Criative DK" from Euro Yarns Select, a blend of alpaca, cotton, and modal -- perfect for summer projects!

"Meadow" from The Fibre Company is a fingering-weight blend of baby llama, silk, linen, and merino wool. It has a rustic sort of texture (due to the linen content) and slight color variations. 545 yards per 100-gram skein.

We got a shipment of fiber from World of Wool that includes something new to the shop: the "Bambino Range" which is a blend of merino and bamboo. The colors are fabulous! We also got some grey merino, brown merino, moorit Shetland, and Zwartbles.

"Bel Viso" from Euro Select is a fingering-weight blend of cotton, linen, and a bit of nettle fibers. Each 100-gram skein has 394 yards -- enough for a scarf or small shawl. The yarn has a slightly rustic, spray-dyed look; we have eight colors in stock.

From Juniper Moon Farm, we have "Patagonia Organic Merino". This is a sport/DK yarn -- it has a wooly, heathery look but is soft and squishy! It comes in 100-gram skeins, each with 382 yards. We have 14 colors -- something for everyone. This could be the perfect lightweight sweater yarn!

Although "Hannah" from Plymouth Yarns is marketed as a baby yarn, the colors include neutrals as well as darker shades that would be suitable for adult accessories and garments. It is a blend of cotton and bamboo and knits to a worsted gauge. Twelve colors in stock.
